The purpose of Grand Rounds and M&M Conferences is to provide surgeons and surgical residents in training with up-to-date knowledge of surgical issues encountered in academic surgical practice. It is expected that promoting awareness of current advances in medicine will improve patient care and reduce mortality and morbidity.
